Our school, China Medical University, has stepped into the 50 years, and this year is also the 50th founding anniversary of the School of Pharmacy. University has restructured since 2001 to establish a total of five University Colleges. The College of Pharmacy since its inception has established three Departments, four Institutes, and two Centers. Three Departments are the Department of Pharmacy, the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources, and the Department of Medicinal Cosmetics; four Institutes are Master’s and Doctoral graduate Institute of Pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical Research Institute, and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Safety Institute; Two Centers are Traditional Medicines Research Center and Drug Safety Center.
This year for grandly celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University and the School of Pharmacy, we would like to present the achievement of half a century to share with you. In view of the rapid development of the international pharmaceutical technology and research, we intend to invite you being the pharmaceutical experts to attend the “50th anniversary of CMU & Symposium on the Frontier of Asia-Pacific Pharmaceutical Sciences” in Taichung, Taiwan from May 3 to May 4, 2008. Thank you and all the pharmaceutical allies for your support and love to the College of Pharmacy. We are sincerely hoping that you can join us at this incredible event and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the University.
