My research interest focuses on searching novel biomarkers of stroke and investigating the role of novel atherogenic low-density lipoprotein (L5 & AC3RL) in cerebrovascular disease. Particular topics include: １．To identify novel biomarkers of mitochondrial origin that can help with the diagnosis of and predict the prognosis of ischemic stroke. To our knowledge, this is a novel approach in the investigation of ischemic stroke. ２． I also work on translational medicine and I have years of research experience in both clinical and basic medical science. ３．Currently, I am also a co-investigator of Academia Sinica sponsored the Biosignature Project based on the Taiwan Biobank.
