Dr. Chiang is a productive scientist, focusing on the development of nanomedicines for cancer and infectious disease treatments. He has published more than 20 SCI journal papers and has experience in translating technology from bench to the bioindustry business. He has more than 10 granted patents and is associated with 2 successful technology transfer. As formally worked as CTO in a biotech startup company for developing novel class III medical device, Dr. Chiang has abundant experience in organizing patent strategy, developing scale-up production, analytic methods, and preclinical studies to translate biotechnology from bench to bed. Dr. Chiang has a great interest in developing biomaterial platforms for translational biotechnologies in the following scopes: 1. Detection and monitoring of pathogens or tumor metastasis 2. Personalized nanomedicine 3. Nanomedicine-boosted immunotherapy 4. Next generation nano-antibiotics 5. Nanoformulated RNA therapeutics
