YHL's Lab dedicated to understanding the mechanisms of cancer progression, with a specific focus on pancreatic cancer and breast cancer functional genomics. Based on clinical observation, the lab employs a multidisciplinary approach combining cellular culture techniques, genetic and protein analysis, as well as animal experimentation to unravel the intricate pathways involved in cancer progression. One of the key areas of research in YHL's Lab is the investigation of how specific genes and proteins contribute to the initiation and progression of pancreatic and breast cancers. By utilizing advanced techniques in gene and protein analysis, researchers in the lab aim to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets that could potentially revolutionize cancer treatment strategies. In addition to traditional experimental methods ranging from chemistry to protein chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology, YHL's Lab also incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) into its research methodologies. AI-generated data mining and processing techniques are employed to analyze large datasets, uncover hidden patterns, and extract valuable insights from complex biological information. This integration of AI technology enhances the lab's ability to explore and understand the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression. Overall, YHL's Lab represents a pioneering research institution at the forefront of cancer biology, utilizing a comprehensive approach that integrates molecular biology, cellular biology, genetics, proteomics, and bioinformatics to advance our understanding of cancer progression and develop more effective therapeutic interventions.
