Dr. Ying-Chyi Song's training background covers autoimmune diseases, tumor immunity, vaccine immunity, and immune regulation of traditional Chinese medicine. The current research interests include several directions: First, to explore the role and mechanism of small compounds/traditional Chinese medicine in regulating the immune system. Second, to develop novel cancer immunotherapy therapies, using small compounds/traditional Chinese medicines as immune adjuvants to induce specific immune responses against tumor cells to treat cancer. Third, to find new therapeutic targets for autoimmune disease treatment and find candidate drugs from small compounds/traditional Chinese medicine.
