Professor Liao's research interests primarily revolve around two areas: the application of psychometrics in medical education and the utilization of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in the context of medical education. Over the past decade, his research papers have been predominantly published in esteemed journals such as Medical Education and BMC Medical Education. The focus of his studies centres on the application of SEL in medical education, with a particular emphasis on methodologies like Service Learning.
