The research of Dr. Huang’s laboratory focuses on the studies of the lipid/cholesterol/steroid metabolic and signaling mechanism as well as targeting of lethal prostate cancer progression, metastasis and drug resistance. Particular emphasis includes master transcription factors regulating lipogenesis and cholesterogenesis, mitochondrial functions, stemness, signaling transduction, androgen receptor activation and therapeutic intervention.
